It was belt-to-ass in the Battle of the Beltway, with the Ravens absolutely dismantling the Commanders at M&T Bank Stadium to close out the preseason.
Baltimore outgained Washington 456-177, held the Commanders to 1/12 on third down and kept them completely out of the red zone. I know it’s preseason, but Jesse Minter’s defense allowed just 13 points across three games.
For the most part, this was the third and fourth teams getting their final preseason run, with a handful of second-teamers getting one last chance to make their case before cutdown day.

Offense
Tyler Huntley got the start and looked much more confident and comfortable than he had in his first two preseason appearances. He capped the opening drive with a 25-yard touchdown to Chris Moore that was initially ruled incomplete before being overturned on a challenge.
Huntley finished 4/4 for 61 yards and the touchdown, while adding 14 yards on the ground. A nice ending to what had otherwise been a lackluster preseason.
At QB, it was once again Joe Fagnano stealing the hearts of Ravens fans and creating a real conversation about whether the Ravens keep three quarterbacks on the 53.
Fagnano’s redzone touchdown to LaJohntay Wester, who has had a fantastic preseason himself, is exactly the type of play you look for from a backup quarterback. Tight window, no overthinking, just a bullet into the breadbasket.
