What felt increasingly likely throughout the week is now official: Lamar Jackson won’t play Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, leaving Tyler Huntley to make his second consecutive start.
We’ve spent plenty of time this week discussing Huntley’s performance against Atlanta and what Baltimore’s offense looks like without Jackson, so there’s no need to revisit all of that. The reality is that the Ravens are 4-1, they’ve already shown they can win with Huntley under center, and they’re heading into their first AFC North matchup of the season without their starting quarterback.
The bigger question now is how Baltimore approaches this game. Cleveland presents a different challenge defensively, and with injuries piling, the Ravens will need to find ways to make life easier for Huntley. That starts with getting Derrick Henry going and finding some consistency in the running game and the offensive line moving bodies.
