I came away pretty damn impressed with Tyler Shough against Detroit.
There were mistakes. There were definitely throws he’d like to have back. But when you actually sit down and watch the game, there’s a lot to like. Detroit played plenty of zone and Shough consistently found the open grass. When they brought pressure, he showed he could see it, get the ball out and find the answer. And when Detroit left some of their slower corners in situations where they had to run, Shough wasn’t afraid to let it rip.
