FILM ROOM: The Baltimore Ravens Pass Protection Problem

Through two weeks, Lamar Jackson is the seventh-most pressured quarterback in football. The Ravens also sit dead last in PFF’s pass-blocking grade and 30th in ESPN’s pass block win rate. Those numbers are ugly, and there have absolutely been individual losses up front. We’ll get into those on film. But when you go through the Saints game, the bigger concern for me isn’t just guys getting beat. It’s how often Baltimore struggled to get the protection set correctly before those one-on-ones even had a chance to matter.
